The menu

The Kaiseki Bento bar offers a variety of Bentos, prepared everyday according to what is available in the market. In the afternoon, the bar serves a tea room menu which includes green tea and other hot drinks, speciality pastries, as well as a Bento.

Bentos à la Carte

Kaiseki Bento - €50.
Quintessential Japanese nouvelle cuisine: a selection of flavours, colours and techniques.

Bento ‘En Prose’ - €30.
Four unique tastes served in a Bento.

Bento Yatai - €25.
Two available concepts:
- Buckwheat noodles; seasonal vegetables and yakumiexplanation; explanation.

Fresh Miso soup - €10.

The daily Bentos

Méditation - €17.
Tofu, bean sprouts and germinated seeds; Vitelotte potatoes; rice; explanation.

Lunaire - €17.

The Tea Room

Le Mocambo - €3.
Mini-tartlet with chocolate ganache and mirabelle plum.

La madeleine au maccha - €4 each / €10 the set of 3.
Yuzu zest and matcha sprinkle, this signature Madeleine, launched by the chef in 2001. Its subtle flavours - somewhere between Proust and Japan - are best enjoyed with a cup of green tea.

Le Kabuto - €7.
Hissa’s creation with black sugar from Okinawa (Ryûkyû islands).


Le Mozart Orange - €15.
White chocolate mousse infused with orange. It is named after Mozart’s Symphony Number 40, a favourite of the sensei.

Dessert of the day - €10.

Drinks

‘T©’ (matcha green tea by Hissa), Sen-cha (green tea), Hôji-cha (smoked tea) and Genmai-cha (toasted rice tea).

Coffee and decaffeinated coffee; still and sparkling mineral water; smoothies; Asahi Japanese beer; Sake; Wines selection by Hissa for the Kaiseki Bento.
